INSPIRATION / JOURNEY OF HIS LIFE 

 .1.His deaf father struggles ignited this determination. That is why he was keen to know how ears work.

.2.At the age of ten, he has done a lot of biological experiments in his mother's laundry. He also made a hypodermic syringe in his father's chemist shop and tried to transfer agents, like viruses, from one tomato plant to another.

.3.In the 1960's, he discovered the way a deaf person can hear but couldn't understand any human language. However, in 1967, he started to research the possibility of an artificial ear created by an electric implant. Some of the people thought he was mad and this isn't possible. However, in 1978, the first cochlear implant surgery took place and it was a success!
